Please Respond...I'm waiting :)

I entered the land of "blogville" about six months ago and have enjoyed the opportunity to post on a wide variety of subjects and thoughts. It's a good way to keep up with my crazy life and personally provides a good outlet for me to think out loud.

Over these months about 30 or so readers have posted at one time or another. In addition to the responses you see, I'd say roughly 50 others have commented through personal e-mails. I appreciate them all but I want to challenge you all to respond often. Why?

1. I can know you read it. That actually helps. It's like talking to a radio mich without ever knowing anyone out there is listening :)

2. Others can read your thoughts. Go ahead, rant, complain, protest, agree, disagree, add to my thoughts, get mad and throw something (but remember it's your monitor you'll bust!)! You surely have something you can add and I'd like to hear it. Your thinking spurs my thinking and the thinking of others.

So...I'll just sit here and wait to hear from you :). But if you decide not to...I guess that's OK too :).

I suppose while you wait on a blog you are also still awaiting an announcement out of T-Town, while you wait for our house to sell, while you wait to do your Christmas shopping....I wonder, how much time does a human spend waiting in his/her lifetime? Are you waiting at a red light right now, or in line at Starbuck's waiting on your latte' of choice while you wait for that "good chair" to free up, too. Waiting....you know someone very close to me once said, "Good things come to those who wait." I hope so!

It reminds me of talking to teenagers. You never know if they're listening.

I suppose you are waiting for a response like we were waiting for you to show up at the last 3rd Monday meeting. I wonder if your absence had anything to do with the fact that your book was being reviewed. Just kidding!!!!! I enjoy reading your thoughts and appreaciate your friendship.
God bless,
Steve B

I do not read many blogs. I read my sons who is a youth minister in Guntersville and then I read yours. I find them both interesting. I do not blog, but I do post an article on our website at maplehillchurch.org Maybe you could look at it while you are waiting.

Obviously, I'm a commenter (when Clayton allows me some time for the computer; usually between 5 and 8 a.m.). As for Mel's comment on the coach...wait no more...Rodriguez is the man!
